Day 01
DELHI – SRINAGAR
In time transfer to airport to connect the flight for Srinagar.Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon 2 - 3 Hours Boat Ride on Dal Lake by a gondola Boat called ”SHIKARA” witness the ride on lake, called Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Also see the scenic extravaganza of the Kashmir and enjoy the profusion of colors in the Paradise on Earth. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie & wood of a walnut. Overnight at the Deluxe Houseboat.

Day 02
SRINAGAR
Early morning visit vegetable market to have a splendid view of Vegetable market in Dal Lake. After Lunch, proceed for half day City Tour visiting Hari Parbat Fort, Jamia Masjid and Shah-I-Hamdan Mosque monument of medieval architecture etc. Return to the houseboat en-route drive and walk through the Old town of City, where one can see the colorful life of people living around. After Lunch , In second Visit  Mogul Garden "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All). Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty Silken carpets, shawls, jewellery ornaments, Dinner and Overnight at the Deluxe Houseboat.  Dinner and overnight at Houseboat.

Day 03
GULMARG (56 Kms – 9000 fts.)
Full Day at Leisure OR OPTIONAL TOUR to Gulmarg, called as “Meadow of Flowers” with picnic lunch. Gulmarg is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700 – ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time.  Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Ride – (Optional)

Day 04
SRINAGAR – KARGIL (204 Kms)
After Early breakfast depart for Kargil (204 Kms) & drive thru Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Stop at Sonamarg Glacier Restaurant for Hot Lunch + Immediately after lunch, drive towards Kargil and passing over Zojila Pass. Stop at Drass, the 2nd coldest inhabitant place in the World for Passport check & cup of tea. Then drive along the Drass River till one arrives at  Kargil & Check in at Hotel D'Zojila \ Kargil. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 05
KARGIL – ULEYTOKPO(165 Kms)
After breakfast Drive for Uleytokpo at an altitude of 3150 Mts.) Enroute visiting the Monastery of Mulbekh, famous for 1st century Statue of Maitrya Buddha, carved out of a huge rock.  Proceed further towards Lamayuru & passing thru Namikala & Fatula Passes, the highest Pass on Srinagar – Leh road. Visit the 10th Century Monastery, also called as “Yandrung Gompa” of red sect. After visit, enjoy Hot lunch at Lamayuru in a local Restaurant.  Later drive along the Indus River & passing thru the villages of Khalsi.  Arrive Uleytokpo & Check in at Uley Ethnic Resort for overnight Stay & Meals. Proceed for Leh via saspol. Arrive Leh (165 Kms - & District Headquarters of Ladakh Region at an altitude of 3500 Mts.). & Check in at Hotel Holiday Ladakh for overnight Stay & Meals. Day 06
ULEYTOKPO
Morning visit Rizong & Alchi Monastery. Alchi, which is famous for six separate structures with a collection of gigantic painted clay statues of the Buddha. Carved arches, ornate and 1,000-year-old paintings are what you get to see. The monastery was founded in the 11th century by Rinchen Zangpo the ‘Great Translator’, and was intricately decorated by artists from Kashmir and Tibet. Monks of Likir maintain Alchi and it is no longer is a place for active worship. Rizong, the monastery is situated along a steep, rocky track north of the main Leh-Srinagar Highway, the monastery houses the nunnery (women only) of Zulichen. After lunch Free to rest at Camp. Day 07
ULEYTOKPO – LEH(70 Kms)
Proceed for Leh via saspol. Arrive Leh (165 Kms - & District Headquarters of Ladakh Region at an altitude of 3500 Mts.). & Check in at Hotel Holiday Ladakh for overnight Stay & Meals.Afternoon FREE TO EXPLORE SURROUNDINGS ON YOUR OWN.  Dinner & overnight stay at your Hotel.

Day 08
LEH
Afterbreakfast, visit the 17th century Leh Palace. The projecting balconies of the nine storeyed palace gracefully rises to a mountain height, commanding bird’s view of the town. Visit Leh Temple & walk back to Leh Bazaar through the famous Leh Polo ground. Afternoon free. Lunch + Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 09
LEH
Full day visiting Shey, Thiksey & Stok Palace. After breakfast, proceed to Shey – it was the ancient capital of Ladakh and even after Singge Namgyal built the more imposing palace at Leh, the kings continued to regard Shey, as their real home. The importance which was attached to Shey - the seat of Ladakh's heartland - is attested by the enormous number of Chorten about the village, particularly around the palace complex and barren plain to the north of the road.  Thiksey – is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompa containing images, stupas and exquisite wall paintings. It also houses a two - storied statue of Buddha which has the main prayer hall around its shoulder. Proceed to Hemis – which is dedicated to Padmasambhava, what a visitor can observes a series of scenes in which the lamas, robed in gowns of rich, brightly coloured brocade and sporting masks sometimes bizarrely hideous, parade in solemn dance and mime around the huge flag pole in the center of the courtyard to the plaintive melody of the Shawn. The moan of the eleven feet horns, the boom of drums and the clash of Cymbals. Hemis was found in the 1630's by Tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Singe Namgyal, Hemis is the largest and richest of the Ladakh Gompas. It nestles into the mountain side a little way up a glen in the mountains of Zanskar range Overnight at hotel.

AM Sightseeing of Spituk & Phyang Monastery. Spituk – 8 Kms from Leh, Spituk stands majestically atop a hillock overlooking the Indus valley for miles. Many icons and fine "Tangkhas" are to be found in this 15th century monastery. It also houses a collection of ancient masks, antique arms and is inspiring image of "Mahakala". The face of the Kali image is kept covered and revealed only at the annual function in January every two years.  After Spituk, Visit to Phyang Monastery, this is 17 Kms from Leh, built by Tashi Namgyal in 16th century A.D. and belongs to the Red Cap Sect of Buddhists. Samkar is little up in the valley, 3 Kms. From Leh Town, which is open to visitors in the morning and evening only. The Gompa belongs to Yellow Sect and was founded in 18th Century. The Gompa is the seat of the Head Lama of Ladakh and founder of yellow sect, Tson-Kha-Pa. The Temple walls have recent painted of figures including Sakyamuni, Avalokiteshwara, Padmasambhava, Tso-Ka-pa and green Tara. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11
LEH – NUBRA (155 Kms)
Breakfast at the hotel. Early Morning Leave Leh for NUBRA VALLEY passing thru Horzey & Gangles Village.  The road then rises to reach Khardungla (5602 Mts.) the world's highest Motorable road & enjoy the landscape & the beautiful birds eye view of the Leh town.  Halt for a picnic lunch at Khardong village + Another 35 Kms drive takes to Khalsar at Shyok Valley, where the scenery is all around. The road after crossing Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River enters Nubra Valley & then proceed along the Nubra River to arrive in the afternoon at Tegar or Kyegar as locally called. Meals & Overnight stay in tents at Tirith Camp at Sumur (Kyegar & Sumur are very close by). Afternoon visit Sumur Village, Panamik Hot Spring which are rich in Sulphur contents & believed to have medicinal benefits. On arrival check in at the camp. Dinner and overnight at the Tirith Camp.

Day 12
NUBRA
Breakfast at the Camp. Morning Visit Deskit, the HQ town of Nubra Valley. Driving for 30 Kms takes to Khalsar Bridge. Deskit can be approached by driving parallel to Shyok River for 20 Kms.  From the Historical & Tourist point of view, Deskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Further drive from Deskit to Hunder, another 15 – 20 Kms drive. At Hunder, you may see a few Double Humped, Hairy and Bactrian Camels. You may visit Samstenling Monastery, Next to the road at Sumur, which is 265 years old. Rest at free. Overnight at Hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 13
NUBRA – LEH
Afterbreakfast Morning drive back to Leh via same route. ON arrival Check in at Hotel Ladakh Holiday for Dinner & Overnight Stay.  PM Free.

LEH
Full day excursion TRAKTOK, which is 60 Kms from Leh, above the village of Sakti, is Traktok Gompa, the sole representative in Ladakh of the Nying-ma-pa, the most ancient religious order, but itself said to have been founded in the regain of Tshewang Namgyal in the 16th century.  It is constructed round one of the innumerable caves in the Himalayan and trans-Himalaya where Guru Padmasambhava is believed to have stopped and mediated during his journey to Tibet, and this forms the innermost shrine, while a little further down another cave serves as the kitchen.  The small Du-khang has the usual paintings on the verandah, and on the inside walls recent murals, mostly of fierce divinities.  A new temple outside the main complex was consecrated by his Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1980. Like other monastic festivals, sacred dance-dramas or 'Chhams' form the core of this festival.  But the main attraction for the devotees is the pilgrimage to the huge Tangkhas of Skyabje Jigten Gumbo, founder of the Dringungpa monastic order, which is kept on exhibition during festival. Return to your Hotel for all meals & overnight stay.
